BLANCHARD’S COFFEE - BROAD STREET

Locally-owned, responsibly-sourced coffee roasters Blanchard’s had made a name for themselves in Richmond and the region, but never had a dedicated retail coffee shop until now. The tidy and minimally appointed shop takes up the next iteration in a legacy of businesses occupying an old deco building in the triangle between Broad St and Cutshaw St. Our design goals for this space were to listen to the personality and vision of the established Blanchard’s brand, to bring a new type of professional yet approachable atmosphere to the historic typology, and elevate their trademark “coffee lab” ethos into a showcase room of high-craft coffee and good design.
